The MAXIMA SUPER UNIT (50x80 format) is a stapler-folder with front trimming
that allows the production of booklets and catalogues.

STAPLER
Capable of using up to 6 stitching heads.
Supplied as standard with 2 stitching heads and 2 spools of 0.5 mm thread capable of approximately 80,000 stitching cycles each.
The trimming of the files takes place on the 4 sides by means of "C" squares inside which the material flows and by means of pneumatically controlled gates which equalize the material.

Only after completing the stitching cycle is the set transferred to the next folding station. Since the teams of the sewing machine are the same as those of the folder, the adjustment of the former results in the immediate adjustment of the folding unit as well in order to avoid errors. FOLDING MACHINE
The electronically controlled folding knife performs the cycle from bottom to top and does not require any type of adjustment when changing format and thickness.

Bending takes place by means of pre-loaded steel rollers with adjustable pressure. FRONT TRIMMING
The file, always pressed over the entire surface for complete elimination of air, is stopped under the front cutting unit where 11 compensating cylinders apply a pressure of over 100 kg on the edge.
The blade, inclined by approximately 30°, performs the "scissor" type cut assisted by a self-sharpening counterblade. Maximum cutting thickness 6 mm. In the case of processing catalogs with very delicate covers, it is possible to select a command which electronically stops the transport belts while the cutting blade carries out the complete cycle.

SCALED OUTPUT CARPET
Conveyor to create the scale of the sewn booklets, complete with a programmable pre-selector for the separation of the scale to the desired number of booklets.

The belt is able to receive a total of approximately 80 files (variable data depending on the material processed) GENERAL TECHNICAL DATA:

The net production speed depends on factors that cannot be controlled by the manufacturer, including format, quality and thickness of the finished set, material and operational conditions.

For folding sheets over 200 g/m2 we recommend creasing first.
For the processing of files made up of papers with characteristics outside the aforementioned limits, it is advisable to request a feasibility test from the manufacturer.
