Contains the gearbox that allows you to create 16 spindle speeds in geometric progression. All gears and splined shafts are made of Ni-Cr steel. Mo. hardened, tempered and rectified. Lubrication is guaranteed by a special pump. Rotation and gear reversal is obtained by means of a special mechanical or electric clutch while stopping occurs by means of an electromagnetic brake. CHUCK The chuck is made of Ni.Cr steel. Mo. hardened, tempered and rectified; it is supported by TIMKEN - SKF precision tapered roller bearings - CAM-LOCK type spindle attachment NORTON BOX Completely closed type in oil bath. The gears and shafts are made of steel of appropriate strength. It provides threads of the Metric, Whitwort, Modular, Diametral Pitch, English systems; as well as all advancements. WAGON AND TROLLEYS The wagon is well sized, the support surfaces ensure stability to work stresses. The tempered and ground control screws are mounted on thrust bearings, while the nuts are made of special bronze. The snail of the transversal is adjustable to allow progressive resumption of play. The carriages are all adjustable in their sliding guides, in particular the adjustment of the transversal carriage and the trolley is made by means of a conical gib. T-slots allow the attachment of any accessories. Large graduated verniers allow easy reading and extensive exploitation of the particular characteristics of versatility and precision of the machine. Lubrication is ensured by a manual pump. TAILSTOCK Very robust, it is equipped with a case-hardened, tempered and ground steel sleeve. The flyer is equipped with a large vernier for direct reading of the movements.
