The machine is an automatic labeling system for the application of self-adhesive labels on quadrangular-shaped pharmaceutical cartons.

CHARACTERISTICS:
The operation of the machine is controlled via a special quick reference control panel, equipped with a display for viewing the various states of the machinery and the different control options.

During the production phase, the indications of the products processed correctly (good) and those rejected (waste) appear on the display. The manufacturing process begins with the loading of the products from the line onto the incoming belt. These slide through the machine to be automatically labeled and/or printed. The labeller is operated by a start photocell to synchronize the cycle mechanisms according to the type of product and production speed. On the machine there is an automatic reject unit with which the product that does not correspond to the required processing requirements is diverted from the line into a special container. The finished product continues on the next line to complete the processing cycle. The production data of the system in operation (total and partial quantity, reject number, etc.) are displayed on the control panel. The machine can keep 10 processing programs in memory, which can be modified if necessary. To set the length of the case, the values ​​are between 1 and 9999 and expressed in encoder steps. The electrical/electronic components are mounted inside the "transport module" and protected with closed steel panels fixed solidly with screws. The moving mechanisms mounted on the machine are enclosed within the perimeter protection made up of aluminum profiles and transparent plexiglass panels. On the front and back of the machine there are doors equipped with safety microswitches which inhibit automatic operation in the case of "open doors". The electrical power supply is sectioned with a general safety switch that can be padlocked in the “0” position to avoid accidental activation. The pneumatic system on the machine is controlled by the control unit complete with pressure switch, to stop operation if the pressure drops below the minimum threshold of 4 bar, and a ball cock to close the supply line.
