The Erweka tablet hardness tester is a compact device for automatically measuring the hardness, diameter and thickness of tablets and similar dosage forms.
The device was developed for the quality control and in-process department. You can perform the hardness measurement of the base of two different measurement principles (constant speed, constant force). Measuring principle: Load cell with wire strain gauge, constant velocity (0.1 – 3.00 mm/s) or constant force (10 – 200 N/s) Throughput: 1 to 100 samples per test, preselectable, from 6 to 8 samples per minute.
