The 4RH series machines are hydraulic bending bending machines for the transformation of flat sheets into curved sheets, tubes, truncated cones and polycentric ferrules.
The 4RH bending machines are machines of great versatility and use, particularly suitable for the production of large series.
The calendering phases are obtained through the combined action of the 4 rollers
A', "B, C and "D.
The '4RH has, as standard equipment, the motorization of the central rollers "C' and 'D". The motorization of the rollers "A" and "B" is provided as an optional equipment.
All rollers rotate on bearings.
The side rollers "A" and "B" can move vertically, thanks to a pair of hydraulic cylinders, moving towards or away from the upper roller 'D' (fig. 1.2);
this movement occurs via sliding guides placed inside the slots. The vertical movement of the rollers allows the formation of different radii of curvature.

The 4H calenders are called "Total Invitation" because the insertion of the fourth roller makes the flat part at the edges of the sheet metal almost non-existent.

the vertical movement of the pinch roller "C' allows the sheet metal to be firmly blocked up to the extreme edge, in this way the sheet metal itself can be calendered along its entire length.
The possibility of varying the operating pressure of the pinch roller "C' " (pinching pressure) allows, among other things, the variation of thin thicknesses even on machines with very high performance.

The central rollers "C' and "D" receive the rotary movement from two planetary gearboxes directly keyed onto the rollers.
The pinch roller "C" automatically changes its rotation speed, adapting it to different work situations.
