TYPE OF MACHINE:
Melag 17 is designed for use in the medical field, in particular if, due to the instruments used and the type of packaging, the use of an autoclave with type "B" cycles is not required. In accordance with DIN EN 13060, the autoclave described here is a sterilizer with "S" type cycles. It is a universal autoclave, suitable for the sterilization of packaged/unpackaged solid instruments, simple hollow bodies and small quantities of textile products. This equipment is not intended for use on patients or in areas reserved for patient treatment.

PECULIARITIES:
The Melag 17 is a steam sterilizer autoclave of German production, it requires a 230 V power supply and has a power of 1800 W. It essentially has two work programs: operating pressure equal to 1 bar, time 50 min at a temperature of 121° C and operating pressure equal to 2 bar, time 30 min at a temperature of 134° C. All indication systems, pressure gauges and thermometers are integrated into the main panel of the machine which requires not only the electrical power supply , of distilled water with simple and convenient manual filling, specifically for one cycle 300 ml of water are considered. On the front part of the autoclave, we then find an attachment for discharging the resulting liquid by means of a convenient discharge button. The machine is supplied with the accessories shown in the photo.
