The rolling mill is made up of 26 stands. The first six stands (from stand 1 to stand 6 are the blank) into which Simac billets enter, followed by a Danieli rotating shear. The rolling mill continues from stand 7 to stand 12 (intermediate block) with 3 pre-reducers which feed 3 Danieli tandem reducers which in turn turn the Danieli rolling stands.
