The unit allows the accurate inspection of the appearance of the capsules carried out by linear color cameras with the consequent immediate expulsion from the production line through an appropriate rejection system, if anomalies on the product are detected by the machine itself. SECTOR OF USE:

PECULIARITIES:
This Qualicaps inspection machine combines computer image processing technique and CCD line sensor camera with capsule rectification-transfer mechanism.

The appearance of the capsule is inspected by directly capturing the image with the camera, checking its orientation and rotating the capsule during intermittent transfer. The small installation footprint allows direct connection to a filling machine, and the filling machine can be checked based on the percentage of defects detected. The inspection is fast and highly accurate. The multi-row rotary grinding system is used to control the direction and stop the rotation of capsules for inspection at a productivity of 50,000 capsules per hour, resulting in high inspection accuracy without blind spots. The capsule grinding and transport mechanism, which has already proven efficiency in filling and sealing machines, provides gentle capsule feeding and stable inspection precision, making unmanned operation possible. The following defects may be detected: foreign bodies, dirt, tears, broken capsules, splinters, punctures, crushing, cracks, dents, double capsules, capsule folds, tears (non-articulated capsules), dissimilar, unprinted capsules, length defects and printing. Capsule grinding is performed by multi-line rotary grinding equipment. Thanks to rectification, inspection accuracy and high-speed image processing became possible, which is superior in terms of stability and reliability. The ground capsules are transferred to the inspection drum which rotates intermittently at high speed. With parallel illumination, highly accurate and reliable inspections can be carried out without blind spots. Defective capsules are discharged from the inspection drum by rotating intermittently using compressed air. The graphic panel is equipped as standard, and the current operation and inspection can be monitored by camera, line by line in real time. Year of construction: 2012
